Day
1 Riga Arrival in Riga and check-in Hotel Konventa Seta or similar.
Afternoon walking tour of Old Riga by visiting Dome Cathedral, which
boasts on
of the world's largest pipe organs and St. Peter's Cathedral with
magnificent views of the city from its
steeple. We'll also visit Freedom Monument,
erected in 1935 to celebrate Latvia's independence as well as a number
of historical buildings dating back to the 15th - 17th centuries.
The tour
will be prolonged by private car/minibus to visit the Art
Nouveau district in Riga and the center of
the city. (guide &

Day 2 Sigulda After breakfast we'll leave for Sigulda, located 55 km from
Riga. Sigulda is
surrounded by the Gauja National Park and
Nature Preserve, a mountain region
that has long been cherished as Latvia's
most beautiful. Ancient oak forests,
the cave-lined banks of the Gauja river, medieval castles, and wild
flowers seldom found anywhere else in
Europe, combine to make Sigulda a favorite
resort of foreign guests and Latvians alike. Among the man-made wonders
of this region, we'll visit Turaida and Sigulda Castles. Return to
Riga late afternoon. (guide

Day 3 Rundale Today we'll visit Rundale Palace, one of the masterpieces of
18th century baroque
architecture. The palace's Italian architect, F.B. Rastrelli, also
designed the Winter Palace in St.
Petersburg. We'll return to Riga in the
evening. (guide&

Day 4 Jurmala Stretching over some 15 miles of coastline, Jurmala is an
internationally celebrated
spa and popular destination for day outings. People from all over
the world come to enjoy Jurmkala's clean
air, curative mineral springs and
mud baths, all in the setting of a virgin
pine forest. Overnight in Jurmala.(guide

Day 5 Jurmala Full day at leisure in Jurmala to investigate on your own.
Overnight in Jurmala
Day 6 Riga Transfer to the airport for the flight home.
