DAY 1 FREDERIKSHAVN or HIRTSHALS-AALBORG
There is scheduled ferry service
from Gothenburg (SWEDEN) and Oslo (NORWAY) into Frederikshavn (DENMARK)
and from Kristiansand (NORWAY) into Hirtshals (DENMARK). From these Danish
ports, it is only an hour train ride (not included) to Aalborg noted for its Aalborg
Aquavit. Overnight at

DAY 2 AALBORG - ARHUS
After exploring Aalborg, any of the
frequently scheduled trains will take you in an hour and a half to Arhus-Denmark’s
second largest city with its rich cultural life of music, drama and
splendid museums. Overnight at

DAY 3 ARHUS - ODENSE
From Arhus, it is less than two
hours to your next train stop in Odense-birthplace of Hans Christian
Andersen. Explore the Old Town and the home and museum of Andersen and
overnight at

DAY 4 ODENSE - COPENHAGEN
Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen, is
about a 1½ hour train trip away and you have many departures to choose
from today.
